When the Data Logger Becomes an Employee
In the vehicles of the CVB, a DiLog data logger has recently been tested. For the renters, it documents the entire journey – traveled route, photos, campsites, and notes – which can then be shared with family and friends and experienced again years later.
For the renter, the data logger almost becomes their own employee: When the connection to a NOx sensor recently failed, DiLog reported the error code remotely. The CVB knew the cause before the renter called – and was able to offer an immediate solution.
Furthermore, DiLog raises an alarm if a vehicle is moved without authorization or if the tracker is disconnected from the vehicle. This gives the CVB and its members significantly more security in their rental operations.
