When the Data Logger Becomes an Employee
In the vehicles of the CVB, a DiLog data logger has recently been tested. For renters, it documents the entire journey – the route taken, photos, campsites, and notes – which can then be shared with family and friends and relived years later.
For the rental company, the data logger almost becomes its own employee: When the connection to a NOx sensor recently failed, DiLog reported the error code remotely. The CVB knew the cause even before the renter called – and was able to offer an immediate solution.
Furthermore, DiLog raises an alarm when a vehicle is moved without authorization or when the tracker is disconnected from the vehicle. This provides the CVB and its members with significantly more security in their rental operations.
